Who we are

W

e are the Oatridge family. I am not sure where we would call home. We have several heritages, have traveled a lot and have lived in Switzerland, the Netherlands, the USA and England. Every place we have visited has enriched our lives and broadened our minds. If you are interested in doing business with Nic, his professional web site is here.

T

here has been an Oatridge web site up and running continuously since 1994. The content peridocially gets updated, but there are probably some bits and pieces that have been up since the last century. More details at the old about page.

Some of Nic's Web Stuff

My favourite dives. Sadly a hobby currently on sabbatical but looking forward to taking it up again in Lake Geneva.

I have developed a few web sites that will, hopefully, be useful for people looking to ski or snowboard. Here's one.

Between 1986 and 1987 a bitter industrial dispute with News International took place in Wapping. I recorded the events of the time.

In 1995 I was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer. I kept a diary of my experiences.

Bumpers was a sampler album that was released in 1971. It was one of the first records I ever bought, and still one of my favourites.

We had to return to the USA for a while. I'd covered the country end to end by plane, so this time I took the opportunity to do it by road. And what a road trip it turned out to be.

I created a turn-based game called Basilisk. It's based on an idea I had years ago for a board game, but it works better as a computer game. Play against a friend or take on the computer.

Following the success of Wordle, I couldn't resist developing my own word game engine. This variant allows you to "sculpt" your answers. provides unlimited games and uses 6 letter words.
